GJP Players in the money!

It has been a good month for players on Green Joker Poker. Dara O'Kearney was the latest online qualifier to cash in a live event, in fact he cashed in Two! He was 6th in the JP Poker Irish Masters and 11th in the GUKPT Newcastle event.

Snakebite1 scored a whopping $100,000+ payday when he won the $500k ECOOPII event with another GJP player, dastalion, scooping over $20,000 for finishing 6th in the same event.

highlygifted was 15th in the $300,000 Gtd ECOOP II event winning nearly $4,000.

Dave Masters is currently over in Manila about to play in the Asian Poker Tour event, the package was won on Green Joker Poker and hopefully Dave will get a nice chunk of dough to bring home.

You can qualify for some great live tournaments on GJP. At the moment we are running satellites to The Macau Irish Classic and the Gold Club €500+€50 game. This is in addition to all the regular GUKPT, WSOP & Asian Poker Tour satellites that are running. Check the tournament lobby for times and details.

Online qualifier update.....

Since the Irish Open there have been more Green Joker Poker players playing in live events across Europe.

Graham Clarkson qualified for the EPT San Remo and was very unlucky to go out just before the money when his overpair was cracked again similar to his exit near the money in the Irish Open.

Fran Egan and Mal Dawson won their seats to the GUKPT Manchester event. Both of them made the second day with Mal going on to cash in 14th for over £2500.

Robin Maharaj has just won his seat for the Newcastle leg that takes place in May.

Dave Masters has won his seat to the $1,000,000 Gtd Asian Poker Tour event in Manila which starts on May 27th.

WSOP qualifying is well under way and so far two Green Joker Poker players have won their seats to the main event: Ben Blackmore and Rory Rees.

John 9th & Andrew 12th

John Keown finished in 9th place earning a cool €50,000 and also Green Joker Poker will be sponsoring him into next year's Irish Open for his great finish. Andrew Grimason also did really well finishing 12th for €24,000.

Don Fagan was unlucky to finish 23rd winning €18,000.

16 players are left in the Irish Open and 2 of them are Green Joker Poker qualifiers. Andrew Grimason has 320,000 and John Keown 195,000. Blinds are 10,000/20,0000. If either make the final 6 they will get paid into next years Irish Open by Green Joker Poker and if one of them wins they will get 3 years paid.

Day 3 Chip Counts

Going into Day 3 there are 52 players left in total. The Green Joker Poker players are led by Keiran Small who has 133,000. John Keown has 100,000. Don Fagan 92,000 and Andrew Grimason 80,500. They are all guaranteed a €6,500 payday.

Going into Day 3 there are still 4 Green Joker Poker players left in the Irish Open. Gavin Moir went out just inside the money.

5 In The Money!
